Inktrap - Public Reading with the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences
I was honored to take part in a public reading of Inktrap by Clare Drobot and directed by Kel Haney as part of a reading series with the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences' series hosted by Arlene Dahl at HBO.
Set in The Bowery in 1946, this play is based on the true story of the skilled and revolutionary tattoo artist, Millie Hull, and her tragic life. The atmosphere and clarity of the world created by this piece has stuck with me despite the brevity of my work with it. Special thanks to the Academy for giving this play some of the exposure it wholly deserves.
